Chainlink Exchange Holdings Hit Lowest Level Since Mid-2022
Chainlink (LINK) exchange holdings have been analyzed to be at their lowest level since mid-2022. On-chain activity has maintained some increases, but the LINK price has retraced the gains made in early September. According to AMBCrypto, it has not been confirmed whether the Chainlink exchange holdings have reached a four-year low. Exchange holdings refer to the amount of tokens remaining in exchange wallets, and a decrease in holdings can be interpreted as a reduction in the amount available for immediate trading. However, wallet movements or changes in storage methods can also affect this. Although on-chain activity has slowed, some increases remained, and Santiment reported that the daily new addresses for Chainlink rose from an average of 974 in early August to 1,601, before dropping to 1,140 on September 10. The LINK price increased from $11.11 on September 2 to $13.24 on September 6, but fell to $11.80 on September 9. A decrease in exchange holdings can be interpreted as a signal that the amount available for sale has diminished, but interpretations of price supply can vary due to movements in derivatives collateral. The exact number of tokens in Chainlink exchange holdings and the reference time have not been confirmed.
