Bit2Me Launches Bit2Shield for Cryptocurrency Seizure and Custody
Bit2Me announced the creation of Bit2Shield on September 8, 2026, specializing in the seizure and custody of crypto assets for public institutions and financial entities. The company will support public bodies in asset recovery and the management of digital assets. Bit2Shield does not operate as a traditional crypto asset service provider, so its activities are not subject to the Regulation on Crypto Asset Markets (MiCA Law). It will offer technical assistance to public bodies and facilitate institutional custody in cold wallets through multi-signature wallets. The company will manage the liquidation of assets as ordered by the competent authority. In the area of judicial expertise, it will prepare forensic reports on on-chain traceability and provide expert ratification in legal proceedings. It will also offer enhanced certification of the source of funds for institutional investors and develop risk analysis for financial entities. Additionally, it will include training plans on asset intervention and tracking for police, judges, and banking personnel, within the framework of the MiCA Regulation that was activated on June 30, 2026.
