Ukraine registered 1,949 trucks in July, a 24.7% increase compared to July 2025
In July 2026, Ukraine registered 1,949 trucks with a gross weight of over 3.5 tons, which is 1.2% less than in June but 24.7% more than in July 2025. The number of new truck registrations increased by 18.8% month-on-month and by 37.8% year-on-year. Of these, 266 new trucks accounted for 13.6% of the market, with 150 manufactured or refurbished in Ukraine and 116 imported from abroad. Domestic resales accounted for 1,400 registrations, or 71.8% of the market, while 283 imported used trucks were registered, making up 14.5%. In July, the truck market remained one of the largest in the last 13 months, surpassed only by May and June 2026. The most popular brands among domestic resales were Mercedes-Benz (211), MAN (186), ZiL (184), GAZ (125), and KamAZ (121). Among imported used trucks, Mercedes-Benz (98) and MAN (80) led the way. The average age of vehicles in domestic resales was 24.5 years, while imported ones averaged 9.7 years. The main volume of the market consists of used equipment, while imports replenish the fleet with newer vehicles.
