Ripple Prime Integrates Hyperledger, Supporting On-Chain Derivatives Trading
BlockBeats News, February 4th, Ripple has integrated the decentralized derivatives protocol Hyperliquid into its institutional-grade main brokerage platform Ripple Prime, marking the platform's first direct support for DeFi.
Through this integration, Ripple Prime clients can uniformly manage Hyperliquid's on-chain derivative positions and risk exposure from centralized crypto markets, as well as traditional assets such as forex and fixed income, all within the same main brokerage framework.
Ripple stated that institutional clients accessing Hyperliquid will still only deal with Ripple Prime as their counterparty, and all positions will be managed under a unified risk and margin system. This move reflects an ongoing increase in institutional participation in the DeFi market, and Ripple Prime plans to further support both centralized and decentralized liquidity venues simultaneously in the future.
