Licheng, King Yuan Electronics, and Silergy Report Revenue Growth in August, Licheng's Panel-Level Packaging Capacity Fully Booked
Licheng, King Yuan Electronics, and Silergy all achieved year-on-year revenue growth in August, with Licheng and Silergy reaching historical highs for two consecutive months. Licheng's consolidated revenue for August was NT$8.558 billion, up 3.48% month-on-month and 24.46% year-on-year, with cumulative revenue for the first eight months reaching NT$61.258 billion, a year-on-year increase of 30.83%. King Yuan Electronics reported revenue of NT$4.08 billion in August, up 2.23% month-on-month and 31.58% year-on-year, with cumulative revenue for the first eight months at NT$29.404 billion, a year-on-year increase of 35.53%. Silergy's revenue for August was NT$2.07 billion, up nearly 3% month-on-month and nearly 29% year-on-year, with cumulative revenue for the first eight months exceeding NT$15.26 billion, a year-on-year increase of over 20%. The main growth driver for Licheng is the rebound in demand for memory packaging, with revenue expected to see single-digit growth in the third quarter and potentially exceed the third quarter in the fourth quarter. Licheng's panel-level packaging has been adopted by a U.S. client, with the capacity of the P11 plant fully booked by the client, planning to enter the mass production phase of integrated ASIC and HBM AI chips by mid-2027. King Yuan Electronics is actively expanding its high-end testing capacity, with AI-related products becoming a significant driver of operations. Silergy noted strong demand for AI and high-speed interconnects, particularly the increasing demand for high-performance computing chips.
