Grain Exports Through Poland Increased Fourfold in Daily Volume
In August, the average daily volume of wagons transferred across the Ukrainian-Polish border amounted to 1,012 units, which is 7.9% more than in July. The total volume of cargo transferred through border crossings reached 1.747 million tons, increasing by 215,000 tons compared to July. Exports accounted for 987,000 tons, while imports were 760,000 tons. The largest volume of cargo was at the Izov-Grubeshiv crossing, where 878,000 tons, or 15,336 wagons, were transferred. The Mostyska II-Medika crossing handled 496,000 tons (9,493 wagons), while Yagodyn-Dorogusk processed 359,000 tons (6,341 wagons). The average daily transfer through Izov-Grubeshiv was 495 wagons, which is 43 more than in July. Grain exports increased to 57 wagons per day, which is 43 wagons more than in July. Thus, the cargo flow across the Ukrainian-Polish border in August showed growth in both volume and the number of wagons.
