Airwallex Secures $320 Million Funding, Valued at $11 Billion

Airwallex has secured an additional $320 million, bringing its valuation to $11 billion. The company announced on June 26 that it raised new funds through a Series H investment round. This round was led by Addition, with participation from Baillie Gifford, Hummingbird, QED Investors, T. Rowe Price, Houn Ventures, and Amex Ventures. The valuation increased from $8 billion last December to $11 billion in just six months. The funds will be used for autonomous finance, developing agentic commerce products, and building infrastructure in new markets. Airwallex is expanding its business through two core products, Tzero and Airly. The company reported an annualized revenue of $1.3 billion and an annualized transaction volume of $287 billion as of March 2026, representing a 74% increase in revenue and a 120% increase in transaction volume compared to the previous year. In the Korean market, it has acquired PayNuri to secure a local payment license. The timeline for going public is undecided, and CEO Lucy Liu stated that the goal is to be 'IPO-ready' by the end of this year, although this may change depending on market conditions.
